the Spanish League announced a change in the date of the Barcelona vs. Real Valladolid match in the 34th round of the La Liga championship, due to the Catalan team's participation in the semi-finals of the 2024/2025 Champions League.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", the match has been scheduled for Saturday, May 3, instead of Sunday, May 4, at 10:00 PM Cairo time. This is to give Barcelona more time to rest, given its tight schedule during the coming period.

This change comes after Barcelona successfully qualified for the Champions League semi-finals, after defeating Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals. The team won the first leg 4-0 and lost the second leg 3-1, booking their place in the semi-finals against Inter Milan, who in turn eliminated Bayern Munich.

Barcelona is scheduled to face its rival Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final on April 26, followed by a Champions League semi-final first leg against Inter Milan on April 30, before traveling to the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium for the second leg on May 6.

Barcelona tops the La Liga standings with 70 points after 31 rounds, ahead of Real Madrid, which holds second place with 66 points.
